Free Range Chicken Eggs
We have eggs for sale from our heritage breeds of chicken: Rhode Island Red, Barred Rock, Jersey Black Giant, Light Brown Leghorn, and Anconca. All our eggs are farm fresh and from free-range and sustainably raised chickens. The cost is $3.75/dozen.
The Rhode Island Red, Barred Rock, and Jersey Black Giant chickens lay brown eggs. The Light Brown Leghorn and Anconca chickens lay white eggs.
During the spring through the fall, our chickens roost in a mobile henhouse (an "eggmobile") that gives them access to fresh pasture throughout our farm. During the winter they roost in an insulated henhouse.
No pesticides are used on our farm. All our birds are on pasture, antibiotic-free, and provided with certified organic grain.
